You are invited to a breakfast meeting with the Infrastructure and Projects Authority (IPA) to discuss how the delivery of government major projects can help the UK compete in a global economy, post Brexit.
Major government projects have never been so important in the UK. Project delivery is at the heart of government activity as most government policy priorities are delivered via projects or programmes of one form or another.
Sitting at the centre, reporting to the Cabinet Office and HM Treasury, the IPA supports the successful delivery of major government projects and continually improves the performance of the whole project delivery system in government over time.
Part of the IPA’s role is to oversee and support some of the most strategically important projects that are key to the UK’s future success. These cover a wide range of sectors, from transformation projects that help create modern public services for the 21st century and improve the way government works, to infrastructure projects that are vital for economic growth and national productivity.
During the breakfast meeting, Hala Audi, Director of Strategy and Policy and Rod Kentish, Deputy Director, EU Exit and Transformation will discuss the challenges currently facing major government projects and how we can overcome them to ensure the UK competes on a world stage.
We recommend that members ensure they are as fully briefed as possible about the rules and regulations and that they register for the regular briefings and updates. Please click here
