Major Projects Association members are reminded of the EVA Europe 2009 Conference, CERN, Geneva on November 25th & 26th.
The conference will showcase Earned Value activity with a focus firmly on Europe. Practitioners, customers and suppliers are coming together over two full days at world renowned CERN to share knowledge and discuss solutions to increase the use of Earned Value in ways that will enable Europe to prosper safely and ethically in its global role.

Manon Bradley, Association Manager, competed in the World Drug Free Powerlifting Federation Single Lift World Championships at the weekend.
She competed in both the squat and the benchpressing competition and won both in her weight category making her a double world champion.
For those who are curious
Manon squatted 100kg and benchpressed 80kg - which equals the current world record.

UCL Centre for Systems Engineering is offering discounted fees to all members of MPA on Short Courses and our full MSc in Systems Engineering Management.
Recently, our group, The Centre for Systems Engineering at UCL, has secured government funding to provide bursaries for our training courses. The bursaries are available for 2009-2010 only and are intended to help people to add new skills in this period of financial insecurity. The bursaries are available to delegates on individual short courses which can be taken stand alone or as Modules as part of an MSc in Systems Engineering Management.
The bursaries are available in the following offers:
Offer 1: Sign up for one Module and get a second Module free of charge (both Modules must be taken by the same delegate in 2009-2010)
Offer 2: Sign up for a full MSc (7 x Module price). First Module will be free of charge; any further Modules taken in 2009-2010 will be half price
Offer 3: (Corporate) Sign up 3 people for MSc. First 2 Modules will be free of charge; any further Modules taken in 2009 2010 will be half price.
